My name is Damariz "Tuta" Carlos, and I'm a graphic designer passionate about turning ideas into visuals that actually connect with people. I'm especially drawn to typography and color, how they work together to create mood, guide attention, and tell a story without saying a word. Alongside design, I also enjoy photography, where I get to capture real moments and bring out personality through the lens. That mix of design and photography helps me approach projects with both structure and creativity.
I'm currently building my skills and portfolio while exploring different styles, concepts, and creative challenges. I enjoy the process just as much as the final result: brainstorming, experimenting, refining, and watching an idea come to life. Whether I'm designing for print or digital, I aim to create work that feels intentional, visually strong, and meaningful. Tuta is my childhood nickname, and over time, it became a core part of my identity. Choosing it as my brand name felt natural; it’s personal, unique, and easy to remember. That sense of familiarity helps create an approachable experience, allowing clients to feel comfortable and connected to my work.
I create visual solutions across a range of design projects, with a focus on branding, visual identity, and marketing. I enjoy bringing ideas to life in tangible ways, turning concepts into designs people can see and experience. Alongside design, I’m passionate about photography, capturing meaningful moments, and telling stories that connect with audiences.
I have experience with tools such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, as well as photography equipment, to produce polished, professional work. My strengths include branding, color theory, layout, typography, and photo editing. I value clear communication, collaboration, and attention to detail, ensuring each piece feels intentional and effectively communicates its message.
